LYRICAL
This class is a combination of classical and interpretive dance where students will learn about the expressive and emotional side of dance. Where lyrical dance often involves movement to ‘lyrics’ in a song, contemporary is much more abstract and so the choreography in class will explore both of these genres.
Junior Lyrical - Ages 7-8
Intermediate Lyrical – Ages 9-11
Sub Senior Lyrical – Ages 12-14
Senior Lyrical - Ages 15+
UNIFORM
Attire: Black leotard or black t-shirt/tank, black shorts or leggings, and salmon pink ballet tights
Hair: Secured off face (e.g. bun or ponytail)
Shoes: Foot thongs
